GKB Diplomat IP cameras perform auto self-networking

Taichung, Taiwan
In traditional commercial installations, such as supermarkets, it has always been necessary to install many cameras to cover the wider premises. With the latest GKB HD IP solution "Digital Zoom" function, shop owners are now able to see clear images through all required surveillance areas by using less cameras.

The GKB HD IP camera offers a 1.3 megapixel image quality that covers wider ranges through its video capture.  The manufacturer suggests that this provides much clearer images than any traditional analogue cameras today or in the past.

The Diplomat series of IP cameras are available in both box type and bullet type (weatherproof housing).  They are said to be the very first high definition network cameras with automatic self-networking for quick setup and installation.  This series of IP cameras feature H.264 video compression at superior video resolution.  The low bit-rate of H.264 codec allows smoother video streaming in even the most unfavourable networking environments and conditions.

The GKB Diplomat cameras are bundled together with their own Enyoy  software providing the “Digital Zoom function” providing the potential of using less cameras in a wider coverage area.

The use of GKB's cloud platform framework technology brings IP solution today to a new level.  Via self-networking and setup, this series of IP cameras can be accessed and managed by a defined account ID and password.  Live image and playback can be seen and displayed anytime anywhere via the IE browser without any extra software installed at the remote viewer device.

The model D3822 and D6122 of the Diplomat camera family are equipped with a Micro-SD card slot on each camera body/housing allowing captured video to be recorded locally.  It is not required to remove the Micro-SD for video archives; the recorded video can be easily accessed at a remote site through IE browser by any authorised person.
